Precompiled H'uru Client

No luck today with a fresh install. Same as yesterday, the neighborhood book does open but clicking it does nothing.
Typing ~ or ` does nothing.
What can I do now?

I remember some weirdness with console keys. On my german keyboard it is the ö key. Since the Swedish keyboard has that in the same place, try ö.

It appears that everyone installing Destiny recently has the same problem with the "unclickable" bookcase in Relto. Several people HAVE solved this but don't seem to remember what they did in order to get it working correctly. I know that one person did something with python files but exactly what I don't know.

If you are on Discord amtist, then you could try asking there. Both the people I know who fixed their install are on Discord.

My guess is that Mystler is correct in saying that the precompiled Destiny client needs updating, especially since the major updates that have taken place on MOULa (which is where you copy the Destiny install's files from).

Hello all. I am trying to get the Shard working. Got as far as logging in and making an avatar. The game attempts to link me to Relto, but crashes.
That is the same problem as Yulyfortoday have had se4verakl posts befor. I have the same screenshot. I saw that Bob was willing to help, but i do not see if the problem was solved after it.

For any help would be appreciated

Hello, I just had the same problem! Ended up posting on another thread. Look at my last post here:

You can follow these steps:
1) Download an up-to-date client from the h'uru github (for example: https://github.com/H-uru/Plasma/actions/runs/719393949 ). You'll need a (free) github account for this. At the bottom of that page, under "Artifacts", you click on "plasma-windows-x64-internal-release"
2) Start your Destiny directory afresh. Copy the "avi", "dat" and "sfx" files from your MOULa directory. Copy into this directory all the files from the "client" directory inside the "plasma-windows-x64-internal-release.zip" that you just downloaded, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE "SDL" DIRECTORY (I also didn't copy anything from the "dat" directory in this zip, but I don't know if this makes any difference or not)
3) Download the Client posted by mystler at the first post of this thread. From this, copy ONLY the "SDL" directory and the "server.ini" file
4) Make the shortcut to plClient.exe using the "-LocalData" flag and you're good to go!

I'm sorry to hear that. I must confess that it took quite a bit of juggling of files and folders until I got the shard working; I was confident that my instructions would reflect the final solution, but maybe I changed something that I forgot to keep track of.

I wonder if there is any way to trick the vault into believing that your avatar has already seen the "StartupHelpGUI", as that seems to be what is causing trouble - I noticed that, after I got to Relto on another computer, my Destiny installation that was previously experiencing the same bug suddenly started working, with no changes necessary
