Re: Precompiled H'uru Client
That's a bit stange, it should work on Win 10. When do you get that message? Instantly?

Re: How to commit and test fan ages
Well, I was talking more technically than necessary. For starters, you can try to send someone your age and have them put it into their game folder. When they are online and agree, you can link them to you via the console.
Code: Select all
Net.LinkPlayerHere <KI number>

Re: How to commit and test fan ages
Haha, to be fair, when I set that up I wasn't even aware dirtsand would allow folks to link to their ages without the server knowing about it. In any case, I kept it in case there are some unknown side-effects (not sure how it behaves in multiplayer or if i would want to set up a global instance ...

Re: Localization Editor
Loc files are XML-like files. Technically, you don't need any tool to edit them. The Localization Editor is an extra little application that can be used to create and maintain localization files as well. It is part of the URU client source code, but I don't have a precompiled version of it ready for ...

Re: Precompiled H'uru Client
No, again, the server only needs the .age file that describes what .prp there are. That *usually* does not change. You can add to your age and modify the actual data files as much as you want.

Re: Precompiled H'uru Client
Nice to see it working for you. Have Fun testing, then! :D Let me just clarify one point, if you send in an age file, you do *not* have to upload it again every time you export the age. The age file only contains very basic information like name, sequence prefix and what PRP files with the actual ...

Re: Precompiled H'uru Client
Yes, there is a thread pinned with some information for age testing. See https://destiny.mystler.eu/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16. I have heard that new age testing by now also works without having to send in .age files but I'm not absolutely sure. Feel free to test by just copying your files locally, but ...

Re: Precompiled H'uru Client
Running with /LocalData means it will only use the data files your client has and not try to communicate with a file download server (which Destiny does not have/offer). How to do it? Drag and drop UruExplorer.exe somewhere with your right mouse button pressed and click "Create shortcut here". This ...

Re: Client does not find Resource.dat
Hmm... I've not tried Destiny with Wine yet. Did you try to cd into the client directory and run it from there, in case it expects Resource.dat to be present in the cwd.
Code: Select all
cd /home/palla/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Destiny
wine plClient.exe /LocalData
